BACCICHETTO VITTORINO: WINES OF THE FRIULIAN RIVIERA
Vittorino:
patriarch,
winegrower,
entrepreneur
A CALLING
Vittorino Baccichetto, together with his wife Anita, founded Baccichetto Vittorino in Precenicco in 1966, marking a new milestone in the family’s winemaking journey — a true vocation — that had begun nearly a century earlier, in 1888. Vittorino’s grandfather had already dedicated himself to vine cultivation in the Venetian plains, passing on to his son Sisto a wealth of experience and expertise that was later inherited by Vittorino and, in turn, by his grandchildren Alessandro and Paolo, who have successfully brought that legacy into the present, applying it with distinction to viticulture in Friuli.
KNOWLEDGE PASSED DOWN
Vittorino passed on to his sons Alessandro and Paolo the defining purpose of his life: to produce quality wines that honestly express the character of their terroir. Even today, the patriarch’s experience continues to guide Paolo — who oversees the vineyards and the estate’s cutting-edge renewable energy system — and Alessandro, who manages vinification, the cellar, and client relations, as well as the many grandchildrenLuca, Samuele, Manuel, Maurizio, Michele & Mauro— who for some years now have been actively involved in various roles across the production process.

One big family
A FAMILY BUSINESS, WELL ORGANIZED
Baccichetto Vittorino is, in every sense, a large family: brothers Alessandro and Paolo, their wives and children all take on different roles in running the estate, and have succeeded in extending that family spirit — along with their passion and commitment — to the employees who work alongside them in the vineyards and the cellar. Together, they form a team that is as warm and welcoming as it is efficient and organized in meeting the challenges of today’s market.
