“Passionate winemakers, outstanding hospitality in a refined and beautifully tended setting. Excellent wines.” — Barbara, Google Review
Baccichetto Vittorino: a family devoted to viticulture for over a century, drawing on the wisdom of nature and knowledge passed down through the generations. Since 1888, each chapter of their story has renewed a passion that is both a craft and a way of life — deeply rooted in the winemaking traditions of the Friulian Riviera, yet always attuned to the present and open to the future.
The estate’s vineyards, managed primarily by Paolo Baccichetto, extend across more than 100 hectares in the Friulian Riviera — a Friuli D.O.C.-designated zone opening toward the Adriatic in the southern reaches of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, one of Italy’s most naturally gifted wine-growing regions.
From the riverside soils of the Friuli D.O.C. appellation come wines of genuine pleasure and aromatic depth: the diversity of the subsoils allows each varietal to express itself at its best. Soil composition and microclimate, combined with meticulous vineyard management and careful cellar work, bring to the glass an authentic — and always surprising — expression of the terroir.
The Friulian Riviera: a land of ancient winemaking tradition
Meticulous attention to the fruit is the foundation for crafting wines of distinction
In the cellar, tradition and technology converge to produce wines that speak to the contemporary palate
Elegant reds, fresh and mineral whites: a true expression of the Riviera
The Ganimede® method, adopted by Alessandro Baccichetto — who oversees the cellar and vinification — is a gentle and versatile grape processing system that ensures naturalness, maximum efficiency, and an exceptionally high level of quality in the finished wine.
At Baccichetto Vittorino, hospitality isn’t just a tradition — it’s who they are. The tasting room is the heart of the estate, open to the many visitors who make their way to Borgo Titiano from across Italy and beyond.
